Question:
Hi Bro Shaliach, something’s been bothering me. I’ve seen others in my church get healed after prayer, but I’m still struggling with my sickness. I’m happy for them, but I keep wondering why not me. Did God overlook me?

Answer:
Dear Alisha, I truly understand what you’re feeling. Questions like this are rarely spoken out loud, but they weigh heavily on many hearts.
Firstly no, God has not overlooked you. He doesn’t heal some to ignore others. He’s not partial or selective in affection.
Romans 2:11 (AMP) — For God shows no partiality [no arbitrary favoritism; with Him one person is not more important than another].
Healing is part of the finished work of Christ. But the way it unfolds is not always instant or uniform. In His wisdom, He deals with each of us, not as a group, but as sons and daughters.
Faith isn’t proven by how quickly something happens. It’s seen in how we keep trusting even when nothing has changed yet.
Sometimes others are healed visibly and quickly — we rejoice with them. But that doesn’t mean you’re being punished or that your faith is weak.
God may be working something deeper in you — something eternal, not just physical.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (AMP) — For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure… So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen.
Your healing is not denied but it is already secured in Christ. The manifestation may not be identical to someone else’s but God is still at work in your body and life.
Don’t compare your process. Your story in Christ is sacred. Trust in the One who sees all the details.
Hope this brings rest to your heart.
In Christ,
Shaliach
