What We Believe
The Bible is the Word of God: The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
Creation of Humanity: God created humanity in His image; through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 5:12)
Jesus Christ’s Birth: Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23)
Jesus Christ’s Sacrifice: Jesus Christ gave His life as a sacrifice for our sins. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8)
Jesus Christ’s Death and Resurrection: Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 6:9)
Salvation by Grace: We are saved by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Holy Spirit’s Role: The Holy Spirit renews and dwells in every believer. (John 14:16-17, Titus 3:5)
New Covenant: We partake in the Lord’s Supper to honour the new covenant. (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Baptism and Transformation: Believers are baptized with water and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:11, Acts 2:38)
Repentance and Faith: Through repentance and faith in Christ, believers are made children of God. (John 1:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17)
Holiness and Service: Christians are called to holiness, dedication, and service to the Lord. (1 Peter 1:15-16, Romans 12:1)
Priesthood of Believers: Every believer is a priest in Christ. (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6)
Apostles’ Teaching and Fellowship: We commit to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. (Acts 2:42)
Spiritual Maturity: Our goal is to present every person mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)
Second Coming: Jesus Christ will return to earth physically, as He ascended into heaven. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 22:12)
Judgment Day: All will be held accountable by God on the Day of Judgment. (2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12)
The grace of God: The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation and teaching us to live godly lives. (Titus 2:11-12)
End of the Old Covenant: We are no longer under the Old Covenant, its rituals, and ceremonies. (Hebrews 8:13, Galatians 3:24-25)
The Great Commission: Jesus commanded us to go, make disciples of all nations, baptise them and teach them to obey His commands. (Matthew 28:19-20)
The Gift of Tongues: He who speaks in a tongue speaks to God, not to men, for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries by the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 14:2)
Building the Church through the Spirit: He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. (1 Corinthians 14:4)
Equipping the Saints: Christ gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ until we all reach unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Conformed to Christ’s Image: We are being conformed to the image of Christ, the Last Adam, and not the first Adam. (Romans 8:29, 1 Corinthians 15:45-49)
Indwelling of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit dwells within believers, enabling us to be like Christ, bearing fruit and exercising the power of the Spirit for ministry. (Galatians 5:22-23, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:11)
